I don't normally like Chinese food but I love this place. You can tell everything is made fresh when you order and the lady (maybe owner or manager) that's always in there is very nice and always checks on you to see if you need anything or just to ask how your meal was. I always recommend this place to family and friends.

NO. Don't do it, don't even slow down the car and consider it. I go to Ichiban in downtown Ft. Myers frequently and really enjoy it, so thought I would try this one north of the bridge. Oh no... From the shabby interior (think dust, water damage on walls, toilet leaking, a palmetto bug in the ladies, and a spider hanging from the ceiling behind the bar during our entire meal), to the watery fish and small sushi portion, there is no way I'll ever be back. One star is generous for this rating. Not so sure this place is related to Ichiban in downtown Ft. Myers; they seem to have the same takeout and sushi menus, but the food is nowhere comparable. Just hoping I don't get sick from what I ate....

Wow. So I had a terrible experience here. I arrived around noon on a Saturday. I walked in, and the staff asked me THREE TIMES if I was alone! There were plenty of open tables in the dining room, but they didn't have two or three tops available. The smallest appearing table in the restaurant was dirty, so I chose the next smallest looking table (since I was....ALONE!). The server immediately came over and told me I had to move, even though there were plenty of other tables available and I was by no means at the largest table in the restaurant. Also, I am visibly pregnant, so I was shocked she asked me to move (seriously?). The sushi (cooked rolls, don't worry ;) ) arrived promptly, but was really nothing special. The server hardly talked to me the entire rest of my visit, except to correct the incorrect drink she brought me. I was very disappointed.

Not a bad little restaurant. They serve both Chinese and Japanese, but mostly Chinese. They have a nice sushi menu and it is made fresh for you. I didn't realize they had sushi until I ordered so I added tuna roll. it was quite good and a nice little serving of 6 pieces for $4.50. Went with a group and everyone enjoyed their meal. The hot and sour soup was quite good, a nice mix of ingredients. I had the garlic chicken. It was good, but was advertised as hot and it wasn't. Maybe the waitress misunderstood. Very reasonably priced. For some reason, not that busy for a Friday night. We will be back. They have a full bar, but the beers are only in bottles and if you want a darker beer, you are out of luck.

Loved it! Very traditional Chinese food menu, but cooked with the skills of a very serious chef. The pork lo mein and General Tso's chicken were fabulous. The Singapore noodles were also fabulous, but had more of a sub-continent flavor. We ordered two sushi rolls and they were fresh and delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Can't wait to visit again.

We went a little late on a Thursday night. There was only one other couple in the restaurant. The waitress was very sweet. We were looking forward to the sushi. We were totally disappointed. Sushi usually is so artfully created, you hate to ruin it by eating it. It was all cramed onto one plate with no garnesh or style. It was okay but not great. A very expensive lesson. We won't be going back.

Their high- definition sushi is out of this world. So delicious! Service is great and friendly. Definitely a resturant to check out. I've been dozens of times and I always leave thinking about my next trip back!

I've been here multiple times with friends. Great food and quality. I've tried multiple items varying from traditional Chinese dishes to sushi and it never seem to disappoint. Great service and the sweetest lady Sandy keeps me returning just to say hi. Very good priced food and quality will keep me returning and recommending it to friends.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
